The Medical Laboratory Sciences Program established in 2022 in El-Fashir City, North Darfur State, Sudan, is an undergraduate program designed for individuals passionate about pursuing careers in medical laboratory sciences. It seeks to attract academically gifted and innovative medical laboratory scientists prepared for success in a dynamic field. Admission is conducted through the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, followed by an interview process with an admission committee to assess candidate eligibility for acceptance.
The Faculty of Medical Laboratory Sciences aims to be a leader in the field at national, regional, and international levels. Its focus is on excellence in teaching, learning, high-quality scientific research, and providing vital community services. The program is committed to equipping students with the competencies, knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to prioritize patient-centered care with respect and compassion, fostering improvements in healthcare within the community
